NAERIC Versatility Ranch Horse Stake
is a stake class held in conjunction with an AQHA approved show or special event for registered Quarter Horse, Paint Horse and Appaloosa three-year-olds sired by NAERIC-member owned stallions.

A $250.00 stallion nomination fee is due each foaling year. NAERIC-registered foals, by a nominated stallion, are eligible to compete. The highest placing horse by a nominated stallion will receive the 1st place purse, followed by 2nd placing horse, etc.

  • 2007 foals by stallions nominated in 2008 are eligible to compete in the 2010 NAERIC Ranch Horse Stake for a $2000.00 purse.

  • 2008 foals by stallions nominated in 2008 are eligible to compete in the 2011 NAERIC Ranch Horse Stake for a $7,000.00 purse.

  • 2009 foals by stallions nominated in 2009 are eligible to compete in the 2012 NAERIC Ranch Horse Stake for a $6,650.00 purse.

  • 2010 foals by stallions nominated in 2010 are eligible to compete in the 2013 NAERIC Ranch Horse Stake.
